Evening Bags

These bags are made from a combination of tartans, our own glitzy fabric and embroidery.  This special fabric is created by us to compliment the choice of tartan.  The bags are fully lined with silky or shiny fabrics chosen to compliment the outside of each bag.  Every bag is different - no two ever the same.  Approximate width of each bag at top is 18 cm (7 inches)

Top left - Dress Stewart Harris Tweed tartan shoulder bag with hand-made cord, top zip closure (matching cord tag), silk lining and interior pocket.

Top right - Orkney tartan (Lochcarron Weavers) shoulder bag with hand-made cord, magnetic closure on the flap, silk lining and velcro closure interior pocket. 

Middle right  -  Black Watch Harris Tweed tartan shoulder bag  with hand-made cord, magnetic closure on the flap, silk lining and velcro closure interior pocket. 

Bottom  - Mackay Harris Tweed tartan shoulder bag with hand-made  cord, silk lining,  and velcro-closure interior pocket. The lining is shorter than the outside of the bag - things won't get stuck in the bottom point!

The bags shown here are on sale at the Scots Dragoon Guards Museum shop in Edinburgh Castle.   Others can be bought at Highland House of Fraser in Inverness. Other bags can be made in these styles, but the way they are made means they can't be exactly repeated.  If you want to order a bag,  let us know which tartan you want and we will try to accommodate you - however, it may depend on what is available at the time.   The bags can also be made with plain tweeds - a wide range of colours available.   They can also be made as clutch bags, with or without a wrist strap.
