 Celtic Tree of Life Large wallhanging |
All our large panel wallhangings are made to order only. We also supply them to galleries so you may see some in person. Go to the links (shops) page for more information. The picture on the left is our "Tree of Life" design inspired by the vinescroll designs of the Hilton of Cadboll Picitsh stone. We have many other designs, such as "Celtic Wave", "Beltane Bonfire" and "Everlasting Friendship" plus several more geometric knotwork and keypattern designs. All our designs use Harris Tweed, but we often use handmade felt (as shown here) and other fabrics to compliment the tweed. Our large panels generally measure about 40cm x 120cm. They have a concealed support bar across the top which can be removed for cleaning the hanging. Sometimes it is an aluminium strip, other times it is a galvanised steel rod with hand-made finials that can be screwed on and off. Which method is used depends on the design and fabric choices.
